Monster beats tour by Dr Dre

The beats have some of the best bass i have ever heard from a pair of earphones... ever. I was extremely impressed by the bass, however, sound tends to be muddy sometimes, while spectacular on the lows, it has to be said that the highs and mid frequencies are quite neglected, despite many negative reviews of the uncomfortable fit prior to my buying this set of earbuds, i have found no problem with the fit of these babies, they are just alright to me, especially since there are so many sizes of ear tips. Aesthetically, this earbuds, like all others by Dr Dre, look awesome, definite head turner, it is worth mentioning though, that the earbuds stick out of your ears quite a bit, which is understandable, since it is suppose to feature an eye-catching design. The flat wire does not affect performance at all and are totally tangle-proof, the entire set, with the usual black and red is one word: AWESOME. Though not without faults and shortcomings, these earbuds are definitely good enough for the casual listener. It also comes with a carrying case that is quite solid and made of a foam type of material, very lightweight and the circular design keeps with the overall aesthetics, so... bundle em up and throw it in your bag... yeah. Even the box has a great feel to it, it keeps with the black and red design and feels very high quality during my first unboxing, be warned though, there are fakes circulating the market, you may want to google some ways to differentiate real from fake.

Final Verdict:8.5/10 Although it has many things to be improved, such as the lack of volume control and lacks some clarity, the overpowering bass lives up to its brand and i'll definitely recommend these to any hardcore bass addicts.

Endorphin Rush By Jaybird

Wanna go for a run and bring your music with you? Look no further than the Endorphin Rush sports earbuds by Jaybird.
The effort put into designing and making the box alone is a good reason to add to $20 to these cheap, great earbuds coming in on Amazon.com at $80.
The feeling of just holding this box is great, it doesn't feel like $90 to me, it feels like $500. That aside, you will discover that the box houses a wealth of useful accessories for example, it comes with single, double or triple flange eartips at two different sizes, if during sports, you feel that those wires are not doing a good job holding the buds in place, the box also includes 2 plastic ear hooks you can add on to the wires.
The endorphin rush also features an advanced, wide soundstage and noise isolation, they are also comfortable enough for two to three hours of continuous use without any discomfort. Also, the lifetime warranty for damage due to sweat ensures you can run anyway you want safely, and so can your endorphin!

For a earbud of $90, you don't expect much, especially when it says its for sports, however, this earbuds definitely didn't let me down, the fit is just perfect and sound quality is great for its price, i'm giving it a 9 for all the generous accessories and packaging, as well as a great price tag.
Final Verdict: 9

Shure E4c

Compatible with almost all audio devices, this higher end member of Shure's E-series boasts a great sound isolation and allows you to listen to music at lower, safer volumes, it bass is has lots of depth and detail, similar to the monster turbines but not as loud and obtrusive it sounds crisp at the mid to high frequencies, high detail and emphasis in the mid frequencies wearing these really allowed me to discover components of the music i never knew existed, compared to the mid to highs, the lower frequencies and bass seems to be slightly lacking , though the bass has a good presence and is noticeable even at low volumes, it just cannot bring that rousing satisfying punch so many music lovers look for in a portable device, this is quite disappointing for a $300 earbud, just to let you know, this thing usually sticks around in my locker until i feel like listening to classical music, the Klipsch S4s are good for anything else. The construction is commendable, the whole design just screams elegance and simplicity and the cord is made of a thick durable material, and delightfully tangle proof, no worries about throwing these in your bag and taking out a ball of wires an hour later. Overall, i feel that this earbuds are amazing and many people love this design, however, i just cannot seem to get used to the hook over ear design, so, plenty of room to improve.

Frankly, i regret this purchase, especially with so many other competitors in the market.
Final Verdict: 7.5 Decent pair of earbuds but not as good as others of its price.

Klipsch Image S4

Last Week, my very own image S4s by Klipsch finally arrived by mail, i must say, i was impressed, after a week of testing and burn in, i must say, i am impressed, despite the high price tag, it is one of the most comfortable earbuds i have used you can literally forget its there, that's the quality of its soundstage, at under $100 this would be one of my top choices of earbuds. On opening the box, what you get is the earphones, a holding container, and 3 different sized earbuds, 2 single flanged, and one double flanged, for those deep eared types. The fit is extremely comfortable and i have wore it for hours on end without any problems or discomfort, i have wore it for jogging, cycling and not once had it dropped off or have to be re-adjusted. It is extremely light and the oval ear tips fit securely and isolate sound really well. As for the actual sound quality, it is on par with many other, higher end models such as the monster turbine in ears and some of i find that after 75-100 hours of burn in it sounds significantly warmer and has a stronger bass than competitors like the Etymotic, Shure E2c and UE Super fi 3. It's sound has amazing clarity and the bass is strong without affecting vocals and other components. It is good on mids and lows but gets a bit unstable if you blast the highs too much, which is unlikely. A pair of earphones that are similar will be the v-moda vibe duos, while it is very small and scores high on aesthetics, but it must be noted that small and light as it is, it doesn't come near to the X10s before them, but then thats almost a $400 difference.

For its price, it is extremely attractive and Klipsch has definitely outdone themselves yet again, so for those casual listeners who don't mind paying $79-$100 for earbuds to replace those defaults, i will definitely recommend the Image S4s.
Final Verdict: 8.5/10
